I am Arjen Vrielink.
I write, build and consult at the intersection of geospatial technology, organisation & communication and environmental landscape risk.

My talent is bridging the tech and commercial sides of organisations. I can quickly grasp complex issues and translate them into simple, technically feasible, and commercially viable terms.
Selected proof
- Satelligence (2017-2026): co-founder and director. Grew the company from 6 to 50+ people, took monitoring to 95% of global palm oil and 80% of global cocoa supply chains, raised seed funding from an impact VC (2020) and got ISO 27001 certified.
- First Earth observation company with EY assurance (ISAE 3402): I led the audit.
- Nelen & Schuurmans: turned the IT part of a consultancy into a product-focused agile organisation.
- Earlier: moved a desktop geomatics application to web SaaS (dbVision), introduced Scrum and Kanban from scratch (Water Insight) and built the sector’s first end-to-end illegal logging response system on radar satellite data (SarVision).
